Made from the root of Beetroot, that has been dried and powdered, all of the nutrients in Beetroot are maintained during this process. Sweet in flavour and deep red in colour, one teaspoon of beetroot is the equivalent of one beetroot. It is recommended that no more than 6 teaspoons are consumed per day. It adds an earthy sweetness to dishes, enhancing the flavour that would have been harder to do with whole beetroot pieces. Commonly found in spaghetti sauce, tomato dishes and salad dressing. As well as added to cosmetics as a dye.

Common in curries, they are mostly used in deserts as toppings, i.e.; laminations, as well as in breakfast cereals and muesli bars, for a stringy texture.

A must have ingredient in every kitchen, this flour like substance contains the earthy, meaty flavour of porcini mushrooms. Perfect for the base of sauces, stews, risottos, and meat stock replacements in vegetarian dishes, the powder doesn't change the texture of your dish, but enhances the flavour extensively. Adding a complexity of flavouring, it pairs well with garlic for rubs and seasoning.
